Happy Sunday! I am not sure how it is where you live, but here in Montana, robins are definitely signs of hope--a sign that the spring will come, the snow will eventually stop, and warmer days will return. Sometimes though, with God, we do not see visual signs that give us hope and that can be difficult. It is hard to keep the faith when we do not see what we hope for happening. But, even when we do not see how something is going to work out, how our prayers will be answered, we can still do something--hope with patience. And while this might seem like doing nothing, it is really something that takes a conscious effort. Whatever you are hoping for, whatever you are waiting for, wait for it with active patience and know that God's timing is perfect and He sees your waiting and your hope and faithfulness.
Amen. And so true. Altho I struggle with this, but I'm trying.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Becky. This verse drew me in to read all of Romans 8, and I was very blessed and fed by it. Felt off all day and this soothed my soul.
ReplyDeletePraise God, and thank you for your faithfulness to post scripture
I'm trying so very hard to be patient & faithful. Sometimes though I get discouraged & I feel my hope waning. I will keep trying though for I know God is good. Thank you for the encouragement Becky.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully said. It is often a struggle to be patient when waiting but once you see God's plan, it's worth it. Have a great week!
