Happy Sunday! Our lives are a race, sometimes a slow crawl and other times a sprint. Our races are each different, with different obstacles and pit stops, and they are often difficult and so challenging we want to give up. We need to know that we have people surrounding us, not only those in heaven, but here on earth, cheering us on and supporting us as we run and we need to look to these people and let them support us when we we get tripped up by the hard things in life--our failings and shortcomings, our unbelief. When the race is tough we need to throw off the things (sins) slowing us down, we MUST let others help us and encourage us, and we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, who is with us from the very start to the finish. Keep running my friends, even when it gets hard, until He says we have crossed the finish line.
Thanks for my weekly words of inspiration. xo

DeleteHopefully I can cross the finish line with my head held high. I must confess, sometimes I worry about that.
ReplyDeleteDeb, Jesus will left your head up, you don't have to do it alone!
