Bless Our Home Coat Hook
I love repurposing things--taking something that has lost its function or use and is on the way to the dump and creating something new with it.
That was the case with this Bless Our Home coat hook.
In its former life, it was the drop leaf section of an old farmhouse table. But the table was dilapidated and beyond repair. It was a solid wood table, originally painted kelly green.
I painted it Azure from Fusion Mineral Paints , used stencils to paint HOME in big letters, and hand-lettered the Bless our.
I added some large hooks painted white and the old table top has a new use!
That was the case with this Bless Our Home coat hook.

ReplyDeleteThanks Julia. I cannot paint enough things with this color right now--loving it!
DeleteI love this, Becky...the shape makes it even more fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda! I originally thought I would curve the lettering with the tabletop curve, but decided it looked better straight.
DeleteLeave it to you Becky to find use for old table leaf, awesome and so smart. This is such great way to redo something, make something awesome with it. Loving your sign/coat hook, especially the color.
ReplyDeleteHave great week
