Painted Pumpkins Signs
Last weekend I scored 40+ cupboard doors roadside, for FREE!
I made my first couple projects, one which was this painted pumpkin on a little square cupboard door.
I put way too much paint on my paint pallet so I also painted a pumpkin on a scrap piece of barnwood. These are easy to paint, using orange, gold, white, green and brown paint. You really can't mess them up. I just keep adding layers of paint until I liked the look. I sanded them a bit after the paint was dry.
I hand-lettered a fall sentiment on each.
So many more projects to come with these doors!

Another winning idea. You're amazing.

DeleteReally fun painted pumpkins! I love them!
ReplyDeleteThank you Carlene!
DeleteThey both look great! Love the one on the Barnwood, but also love the one on the cabinet doors, that's one of my favorite colors. Your hand lettering is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I had fun painting them! I liked how the turquoise came through the orange pumpkin when I sanded it.
DeleteYour hand lettering is beautiful! The turquoise door is my favorite so far.
ReplyDeleteThank you Audra--all those years of teaching elementary school must have paid off!
DeleteThese are so pretty and you are so talented! I love the turquoise with the orange!
