Happy Sunday! The other evening while on a walk I noticed the reflection in the water and wanted to take a picture of it. As I got closer I scared some ducks and geese up out of the water which caused ripples and I had to wait for it to be calm again to get the perfect shot. We are called to be reflections of Christ and his love, but I wonder how many times I have allowed something to "ripple" or ruin that reflection. When life is hard and when we face obstacles do we reflect God by allowing the fruits of the Spirit to shine through or do we have to wait until everything is calm and right to cast a loving reflection of Christ? Let's remember the gifts of the Spirit and let them thrive in us so that no matter what is going on in our lives, we will portray a beautiful and accurate picture of Jesus's love.
That is very beautiful, those words, those thoughts. It is easy to reflect Christ when all is well, harder when we are going through difficult situations. I myself need to try harder to reflect Him no matter my current situation. I will try. Thank you for sharing Becky. Have a blessed week.
