I just remembered most years I write a bad days of Christmas rhyme for each day. I totally forgot this year. I think I am going to pretend I didn't remember and leave the bad rhymes out this year. 😆
Day two's project is a quick and easy one that can made from a couple small scrap wood pieces.
I used fence ends, but you could use any 1" x 6" boards.
You need two boards about 7" tall and one 3" piece (cut from the two boards). Cut a 45 degree peak on the two boards. Attach them to the 3" board either with screws like I did or with glue and nails. **Variation--don't have a miter saw? Leave the boards as is and paint or peak or don't make a gingerbread house--stencil with snowflakes or whatever image you like.
I sanded, stained and lightly clear-coated the card holder before handpainting with white paint a gingerbread house.
This project is a fantastic Christmas card holder,
but it also is a great napkin and paper plate holder. Make one as a gift, add some plates and napkins and tell the lucky recipient that you will do the dishes for them!

Very Cute idea...
