LOVE Sign

What would February be without a LOVE sign?
A farmhouse style love sign made from barn wood for valentines day or a wedding

This farmhouse style LOVE sign came together quickly with just a few bits and pieces.

I used one long barn wood board cut in half for the background of the sign.  After staining it, I clamped it together and used wood glue (HERE is my favorite wood glue) the letters on.

When the glue was dry I used the brad nailer (HERE) to insure the letters would stay put.

I did paint the letters before I attached them.  I made the L and V from scrap wood, the E and the oval frame O are from the thrift store.

A simple sign with a rustic, farmhouse look, perfect for Valentine's Day or a wedding or in the bedroom hanging above a headboard.
