Be Mine Sign

BE MINE (please)...

I decided some manners in asking someone to be yours was appropriate and okay for Valentine's Day.

 So when daughter painted her bathroom door with chalkboard paint the other evening, I "cleaned" the brush on a small, square scrap of plywood that was lying in the workshop.

From there I decided to paint a little speech bubble with Be Mine (please).  I hand-lettered this.

I then added a little frame made from lathe from the walls of our old schoolhouse.

Simple, with a little politeness added in!
